In my 60-umm years crocheting, I've done a little bit of everything from dainty doilies with thread and teeny tiny hooks to shawls, scarves, hats, gloves and clothing with everything from laceweight to bulky, and baskets and more with heavy twine and huge hooks. Give me a hook and fiber to play with and I'm a very happy camper. : )

Love the outcome of the items...the smiling faces of those who receive the items. Helping others is the kind of person I am. I donate some of my items to veterans, cancer center, and local hospital...and of course if anyone wants to buy them that is also an option.

I believe the pattern is called "Gothic Windows" or something to that effect. It has a zig-zag pattern on the front and horizontal stripes on the back. People are always amazed when they see it and ask me how I did it.
