Knowing that I crochet "backwards", it would be helpful to see how others crochet one-on-one.
ReplyDeleteOh how I would LOVE to someday attend the conference!!! Or...you could just hold one in Montana? ;0) Thank you for a fun giveaway opportunity!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful give away! Love Lion Brand yarn!!! Thanks for the opportunity to enter!

I am quite interested in attending my first crochet pd
ReplyDeleteWould love to attend but both events are too far away from me. Love the prize though.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to attend a gathering dedicated to crochet!
ReplyDeleteI am simply in AWE over how many wonderful things are in this package. I have wanted to try all of these things and have no stores near me to shop for them.
ReplyDeleteSimply amazing.
I would love to attend PDD t learn more about it and share the experience with others.
ReplyDeleteI have never attended PDD, but would love to. I love to crochet, have been since I was 14 and really enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to exploring your site. I've heard of CGOA, but never really looked into it. Thank you for sponsoring this giveaway, otherwise I'd have never looked around on the site!
ReplyDeleteI've never been to a CGOA conference of any kind because they never come to my area. But I would love to go because there is so much to learn. I crochet for myself and gifts but man, what I could learn to make those gifts better.
ReplyDeleteLooking over everything that is happening, it just looks like a great time. And pics I've seen from similar shows in Canada (by The Crochet Crowd's Mikey) looks like a bit of heaven on earth.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know it existed ... been crocheting for 40+ years ... but there is so much yet to learn!
ReplyDeleteI've never been but I've heard its a great resource of information! I'm always looking for more things to do (not that I always have time for them but still).
ReplyDeleteI have not been before but would LOVE to attend. The one in Indy is a possibility for me! EEEEEEEEEEK!
ReplyDeleteI would love to meet fellow crocheters!
ReplyDeleteI would love to attend Professional Development Day to learn how to be efficient in pattern design, marketing, and how to become a better teacher in-person, online, and through publication.
ReplyDeleteI would love to attend and meet with others who crochet and learn how to more effectively sell my product I am also interested in design
ReplyDeleteI would love to attend Professional Development Day because I would love to make my craft my profession, instead of what I really do for a living (computer stuff)!
ReplyDeleteI have never attended, and just now learned about the Professional Guild. I looked over your Facebook page, and noted in particular the conference sessions on taking good photographs of one's work and taking care of one's hands, both especially important topics. I would think that such a conference would supply a great deal of encouragement and motivation to crocheters desiring to develop their professional production and presentation.
ReplyDeleteI am a self taught crocheter and I would love to attend the Professional Development Day, but alas I live in Colorado :( One day I will make it to a crochet event. I would love to learn more about design and how math plays into design.

I would love to attend but unfortunately, can't afford to. It would be great to talk to designers and see all the fantastic items in person.
ReplyDeleteI've never been able to attend a Professional Day, but I would love to get tips from professionals who are established in the business.
ReplyDeleteI've never attended only because I haven't been able to attend a CGOA conference yet. If the chance every arises then I will. I'd love to talk to other on how to market and sell items I've designed.
ReplyDeleteThanks for another great giveaway! I have never attended a CGOA conference but would like to. Learning is all ways fun.

ReplyDeleteI've never been to a conference before but think it would be very informative.
ReplyDeleteA Crocheting conference?! I would love to :D
ReplyDeleteI wish that I could attend and learn how to develop a business. This looks like an amazing show. Thanks for the chance to win. I have already learned so much from Lion Brand-what an awesome company.
ReplyDeleteI, myself, have never attended a crocheting contest but it sounds like it would be a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteI have not attended one yet, but would like to. I teach crochet and would like to expand my efforts to sell my own crocheted creations, but life has just been too busy to work this in.
ReplyDeleteI have never attended a professional crochet show. I've designed clothing and made patterns for over 3 decades. If I have the gauge and the measurements, then I can design anything, using just about any stitch.
ReplyDeleteThank you for offering this giveaway. Everything in it is AWESOME!Won't be able to attend either event, but I sure would like to. Thanks again for the chance to win! Good Luck to all!
ReplyDeleteThis is the first I've heard of a professional crochet show and I would love to go to one but am disabled and it would be to hard for me to attend. I am going to the facebook page and like so I can benefit from the tips and instructions there. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to attend, even if only as an "excuse" for a much needed Vacation!! - Alas, I still need to get a new passport, a "Babysitter" for the Elderly-Parental-Units, $$ to blow on MUCH Future-STASH-Yarn that I'm sure will likely be There... However, IF I were to Win THIS STUFF, I'll be sure to take several moments to "WISH-I-WERE-THERE" during the Event Times! :-D
ReplyDeleteBut now, I must get back to my HOOKS!
I became a member of CGOA this last school year and would like to get to the conference, someday. Looks like a great time, lots of information and classes and yarn, etc. Professional Development Day sounds very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI hope I can attend next year!
ReplyDeletelove to win!
ReplyDeleteI would love to attend so I could learn new things!
ReplyDeleteTo learn some new things and meet other crocheters
ReplyDeleteA great giveaway! I have never been to a PD day, but would love to attend to learn more.
ReplyDeleteawesome give away.
ReplyDeleteI have been to several of the CGOA professional development days and I thoroughly enjoy them. It is so much fun putting names to the friendly faces of crochet designers that I have admired for years! I remember sitting next to Rita Weiss and Jean Leinhauser in Chicago a number of years ago and being in awe of two of the nicest people I have ever met and I ended up being able to submit and publish designs for some of their books - what an honor! I hope more crocheters take advantage of a CGOA conference and come and take some classes.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to a CGOA but I love to crochet and I love lion brand and would love to try out the new yarns!
ReplyDeleteI have never been, but it looks so helpful!
ReplyDeletePDD sounds like fun wish I could go

ReplyDeleteA yarn related conference sounds fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm a professional crochet designer and I'm always interested in leaning new things. I'd love to attend. Darleen
ReplyDeletelove it!
ReplyDeleteNever heard of it before, but sounds very interesting!
ReplyDeleteI have dabbled in designing my own crochet projects and would like to be able to take this to the next level. My dream would be to have a second career (part-time) as a designer after retiring from my current career as a family physician. I admire so many of the top crochet designers and their work and would have so much to learn from them by attending Professional Development Day.
ReplyDeleteI would love to attend Professional Development Day to learn more about the professional end of the business and I would like to take away a wealth of knowledge to take back to my CGOA guild members. I had planned to attend this year, but need to postpone until next year, hopefully!
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to a CGOA Conference and to attend a Professional Development Day. It would be fun to learn how to take a hobby and learn how to turn it into a profession - teaching or designing or even having a little shop some day!
ReplyDeleteLove Lion Brand yarns
ReplyDeleteI can't make it to the show in IN this year but CT was great last year. Thank you Lionbrand

DeleteI unfortunately I can not make the conference this year, however I am eager to learn how to become a Professional Crocheter and to acheive my Masters this year.
ReplyDeleteI'm 30 weeks pregnant and it is hard to travel. I have been crocheting all sorts of baby items for my little girl and a few for my new expectant mommy friends.
ReplyDeleteWould love to attend and learn more about Crocheting. I'm just a beginner doing pretty good so far but so much more I need and want to learn so would love yo attend my first meeting and to see others and there work would be amazing!

ReplyDeleteI have never heard of it but would love to know more!
ReplyDeleteI have never been to the CGOA Professional Development day but would love to one of these years... sounds like it would be fun and very beneficial in learning some new things.
ReplyDeleteThis giveaway is awesome btw and will keep my fingers crossed. I would love to try the new LB yarn and i love the patterns!
I hope to attend CGOA Professional day in the next couple of years. Anna
ReplyDeleteI've not been to the CGOA Professional Development day yet but would like to attend one of these years. I think it would be a great time and educational.
ReplyDeleteI have not been able to attend any of the CGOA meetings yet. I would really love to someday! I would be thrilled to win the Lion Brand gift package. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAs a self taught crocheter and knitter the world wide web has shown me exactly how much I have to learn. Would love to attend to learn and just be in a location with so many who share my passions.
ReplyDeleteWould love to attend a GCOA event.
ReplyDeleteI have never been to one of these conferences, but hoping to make it to the one in Indy to see what all they offer!!

Please enter me in for a chance to win Lion Brand yarns ! I love Lion Brand!
ReplyDeleteI have never been to one but learning more about technique would be great, and looking at yarn and patterns is ALWAYS fun and inspirational for future projects! I have more things I'd like to crochet than time to do it!
ReplyDeleteThe one thing I would love more than winning this prize would be to attend the Professional Development Day.
ReplyDeleteAny plans for conferences in Nashville in the future?
Tracy

I have never attending CGOA professional development day.But I would really love too. I would love to be able to make a living as a professional crocheter. I have the skills and design ability but just don't understand why I can't get further. So I need some help.
ReplyDeletePD Day gave me the motivation I needed to start contract crocheting. Now I have a means to support my yarn and pattern acquisition habit!
ReplyDeleteThere is so much advice I feel I could glean from the presenters for Professional Development Day-- from marketing strategies to taking care of yourself and your buisness, to new ideas and creative thought. Which is why I would love to attend a Professional Development Day. It would be very helpful in getting what is currently a very small business to be an up and running establishment.
ReplyDeleteI've never attended a Professional Development Day but it sounds like it would be a great way to connect and network with some fantastic "yarn" folks.
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to open my own yarn store. It has been attempted in our small town and did not succeed. I would love to attend a Professional Development Day however they are too far away (Im in Northern Ontario). Although I am still a little ways from retirement, my plans are to try to open a store here again to keep me busy.
ReplyDeletewish I could go but its a bit of a drive from Alberta, Canada.
ReplyDeleteI have not yet attended the Professional Development Day but would love to. I am primarily a self-taught crocheter (my mother taught me the basic chain stitch and single crochet when I was a child) and have learned through trial and error (and lots of books). I would love the opportunity to see how others do things and see if I am doing things "the right way" so that I can continue to improve.
ReplyDeleteNever stop learning! This would be a great opportunity to add to my skill set. Thanks for the chance to win the
ReplyDeleteincredible prize package!
News to me! Love fiber arts!
ReplyDeleteI have never attended, but would love to - I plan to make crochet projects be my "pin money" earner when I retire!
ReplyDeleteI would love to enter your raffle -- thanks!
ReplyDeleteWinning would be awesome, because I don't always have the money to buy new yarn. I have never been to the event, but I would love too because I love to meet new people and learn new things.
ReplyDeleteWould love to go and see new yarns and techniques but it's too far from me.
ReplyDeleteThere are never events like this close to me. I'm always looking to learn more.
ReplyDeleteI've done needlework for so long, I really should start thinking about passing it along in some capacity. I'd love to attend a conference and get some ideas about what I could do. I wish there were one closer, but maybe that one in NC would give me an excuse to visit my grandkids in Durham.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to attend a Professional Development Day to get ideas on how to have my own business in the yarn industry! I have been knitting and crocheting for years and making items and gifts, for sale and by commission but have no idea how or where to promote my business.
ReplyDeleteI'd never even heard of CGOA until this popped up on my FB news feed. Sounds fabulous! I'd love to attend.
ReplyDeleteHave never been, but would love to go!! I wish the events were closer to DC!

ReplyDeleteI've never been but I imagine there are lots of very inspiring speakers for any one wanting to turn their crochet skills into an income.
ReplyDeletethis is a great prize!
ReplyDeleteI have just started teaching my Girls' Night craft group. This would be so much help. Too bad both are pretty far from MN!
ReplyDeleteIt would be interesting to attend Professional Development Day to learn more about a craft I love.
ReplyDeleteHoping to see you in Portland sometime soon!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome program! I would love to learn more about using crochet professionally!
ReplyDeleteI am very disappointed that I won't be able to go to this PDD as I live on the west coast of Canada and there is not enough time or money to organize my attendance to either of these events. I love learning about everything which is why I continue to learn new crafts each year.
ReplyDeleteI am determined to learn to crochet beyond a chain stitch! I can make snakes, caterpillars, worms, eels, a floppy hilt-less sword... I must broaden my abilities. LOL!
ReplyDeleteInteresting idea for a conference. Wasn't aware there was a professional development comm.
ReplyDeleteWonderful giveaway too! LB is great!
This is the first I have heard of this conference, but I would love to attend. I have a new business of my own and would love to learn new things!!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of PDD before. After crocheting since I was 10 I learned to knit at a local yarnshop. A day doesn't go by I don't knit at least a few stitches.
ReplyDeleteLove the blog and the great inspiration I receive from it! Just getting back into needle work after several years of attending college, I forgot how relaxing it is.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a conference I could use - valuable information! Thanks for the opportunity to enter!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win something.
ReplyDeleteI have never been to an event like this - I get in a lot of trouble on my own just ordering directly from yarn companies and the local stores. I would LOVE to go to one of these some day just to wander around and see the yarns and new patterns. I could always stand to learn more too!
ReplyDeleteI would love to attend one of the professional development conferences! My passion is crochet and I would love to learn all I can about how to develop my business!

ReplyDeleteAfter the year I have had this would be such a blessing and the conference sounds wonderful. Thank you for offering this wonder gift and good luck everyone!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun. Love to crochet but haven't done so seriously for years. Now that my grandson has asked I crochet him a blanket like one I crocheted years ago I am ready to jump back in.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful event! Customer relations would be a great topic to cover.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a GREAT conference! I already teach, but some new ideas would always be welcomed!

ReplyDeleteI'd love to try to go to this next year. I just had a baby, and wouldn't be up for the trip next month. I've been dreaming of opening a yarn shop.

ReplyDeleteThis conference sounds like it would be fun!
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful give away. Thanks for the chance
ReplyDeleteIt would be wonderful to be able to attend a Professional Development day; but there are very few crochet events in hot Arizona! Traveling is not an option for me, so I content myself with learning from the internet and the few others I find that crochet.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun it would be to sit and talk with others that understand the "language of crochet"!
the classes sound amazing... would love to win!!
ReplyDeleteI've never attended a conference, but meeting other fellows of the craft would be exciting and inspiring.

ReplyDeleteI liked the Facebook page! An now trying to figure out if I can swing the show in IN... just a little more finagling.
ReplyDeleteI have never attended anything like it but it sounds like it would be a very interesting conference. I learned to crochet in high school. Taught by my mother and continue to do so 40 years later.
ReplyDeleteThere are certainly days that I wish I could make crafting my profession...
ReplyDeleteI'm not quite ready to go pro, but I have been creating my own designs for years and have a Facebook page for my projects and ideas. I'd like to see more on connecting motifs as we go along rather than making a pile of them and then sewing them together.
ReplyDeleteI have never attended the CGOA but my sister and son live in Indiana and I believe I am going to go and visit so I could attend the conference and would love to meet other crafts.
ReplyDeleteSounds Awesome Hope I can make it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a generous give-away. Thank you. How fun to be able to attend.
ReplyDeleteI have never attended a conference, I didn't even know about it until today. The thought of it is very intrigueing and I am going to consider attending the Fall conference in NC. I just started by own crochet group about 3 months ago and I was amazed and surprised how many of my friends wanted to learn to crochet. Plus I love their enthusiasm and their awe when they finish creating an item! Just recently they were wide-eyed about granny squares! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI have never attended the CGOA but I would love to go because it has always been my dream to open up a yarn shop

ReplyDeleteIt would be so exciting to just be around people who are so talented at yarn crafting! I could learn so much!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to attend for the opportunity to bounce ideas and skills off other crafters!
ReplyDeleteI think it would be really neat to meet with other crocheters and even learn some new stuff from them. I teach Girl Scouts in my area how to crochet and they love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I would love this!!!
